This tutorial will show you the way to set up and manage RSS feeds in Joomla 3.x.

RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed to whoever wants it.
Creating RSS feeds

In the top menu, click ‘Extensions’, and then click ‘Module Manager’:

In the top left of the page, click ‘New’:

Select a module type as ‘Syndication Feeds’:

Fill in the title, feed format as RSS 2.0, choose the position to show the module:

Choose the menu to apply the RSS feed. This module will create a Syndicated Feed for the page where the Module is applied. Select all pages if you wish to show all the website content in your RSS Feed:

Click ‘Save’ to save the RSS feed module.
Publishing RSS feeds

In the top menu, click ‘Components’, hover over ‘Newsfeeds’, and then click ‘Categories’. In the top left of the page, click ‘New’:

Fill in the title and the description of the RSS feed:

Choose the category for the RSS feed:

Click ‘Save’ to save the new RSS feed:
RSS feeds have been successfully published on your desired pages.
